MICRO TEACHING /BRIDGE LESSON WORKSHOP

*Objectives: – 1. To prepare the student teacher for teaching

                      2. To make student teacher aware about skills related to teaching

                      3. To built up the confidence within student teacher.

*Procedure:- 

    The Institution organizes workshop of micro and bridge lesson .In this work shop  theoretical information and demonstration lesson of each skills prescribed in the university curriculum are arranged .The teacher educator gives guidance about the micro/bridge lesson planning and peer observation .

The student teacher are distributed in 8/10 groups .each group contains 10/12 student teachers.

The student –teacher has to perform the role of teacher, observer, time keeper and students in rotation.   

The teach  and  re-teach cycle of following skills is taken  viz. Questioning stimulus variation ,Blackboard work, use of  teaching aid ,set induction, explanation .

KUL GROUP -4

DYANJYOTI  KUL

OBJECTIVE :  1.To identify the hidden potential in the student teacher.

                            2. To promote the student teacher for stage performance

                            3. To develop for the promotion of cultural & literary activities

         The institution distributes the student teachers  in four groups. Important days like birth or death anniversaries of ( Jayanti   Punya Thithi)  leaders, freedom fighters, educationists are celebrated. Out of these the student teachers have celebrated “NAAM VISTAR DIN “of Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.  On this occasion, the student teacher prepared Bhittipatrika .The student teacher delivered speech on this occasion. Chief Guest was Mr. Kshirsagar, he delivered the nice speech.

       In this way the student teachers are involved in the cultural activities.

VISHAKHA SAMITI

Procedure: – The Institution framed the “VISHAKHA SAMITI “to create protective atmosphere in the campus for ladies student teachers The members of the Vishakha Samiti used to arrange meetings to solve the problems of ladies student teachers.”Vishakha samiti” takes contingence of the complaints of ladies student-teachers

INTERNAL ASSESSMENT

Objectives :          1. To Assess the performance of the student teachers throughout

                                  the academic year.

                              2. To evaluate the participation of student teachers in various

                                  Activities, workshops etc.

Procedure:

      The Institution follows the pattern of internal assessment prescribed in the university curriculum .the Assessment and evaluation of student teacher is done by the teacher educators according to their portfolio.

Viz. teaching aid, Drawing, work experience, micro teaching & bridge lesson workshop, practice lessons, internship, cultural and literary activities, excursion

Psychology experiments, assignments, seminars & class tests etc.
